By Joan Ebsworth, guest writer for sense* and mother of sense* Founder, Jonathan describes her healthy smoothie recipe.

I make this healthy smoothie recipe or a variation of it every morning as part of my routine using lots of different ingredients.  Read more about my routine and how to cope living alone with the Coronavirus lock down.
Handful of greens–usually bitters ( called Agrio in Spain)
Fresh Coriander
Thumb of ginger
1/2 pomegranate
3 inches of cucumber
1/2 green apple
Whole Kiwi (with skin)
1/2 mandarin orange
1/2 greenish banana
Then the powders –mostly 1/2 teaspoon
Ashwaghanda
Amla
Chlorella
Spirulina
Kelp
Matcha tea
Broccoli
sense* for busy lives
Elderberry
Cranberry
1 teasp Hemp and almond protein powder
1 teasp Lecithin granules
About 10fl oz filtered water or organic coconut water
At times I leave out a few of these powder ingredients and add different ones such as baobab, lacuma, moringa, beetroot and of course, sense*  for joint & bone or for gut health.   There are many ways to make a healthy smoothie recipe.
Many days I will also grind about 6 different seeds. I place them in a bowl and pour my smoothie over the seeds. Mix and eat like a pudding.
These smoothies are nutrient dense No chewing is involved. So more likely to be digested in the gut (also lots of fibre).
When digested then more nutrients are likely to be absorbed into the blood stream and get to your cells—where those nutrients become you.
If I have made more than I can drink in one session then I place in the fridge.  And drink through the morning.
I practice intermittent fasting. So my two meals are eaten between 10am and 4pm.  I believe in autophagy –and that is another story !!
I hope you like it!
